Lounge/diner: with flatscreen TV and DVD/video. Kitchen: on the ground floor with dishwasher fridge freezer cooker and microwave. Outside: garden area with patio and seating. The narrow, steeply cobbled main street of Clovelly, which runs down the hill to the harbour at its foot, lends this north Devon village a unique and distinctive character. Steeped in history and full of interesting shops this coastal village is a 'must see' for any visitor to this part of the county.
Clovelly is unusual in being privately owned, by the same family since 1738, who maintain a policy of keeping the village traffic-free and in the style of the mid 19th century. This is reflected in the buildings and architecture and the quiet, non-commercialised, appearance of this jewel in North Devon's crown.
